YEREVAN. – There is always a fall after a culmination, and, subsequently, there is an upsurge again.

Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Hamlet Harutyunyan stated the abovementioned during a press conference on Thursday, reflecting on the post-election passiveness in the country. He predicted, however, that the political life will get more active in fall.

Speaking about the rise in the price of the Russian natural gas being supplied to Armenia, the ruling party representative noted that he does not think that in this case Russia is putting pressure on Armenia, its strategic ally. The RPA MP is convinced that Armenia did not make a wrong move in foreign policy that Russia would punish for it.      

“I believe the President is conducting a balanced policy and is doing everything so that all this will serve Armenia’s interests,” Hamlet Harutyunyan added.
