YEREVAN. – Armenia has petitioned to the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) to fund the construction of Armenia’s Mastara Reservoir, in Armavir region.

Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan stated the aforesaid during Thursday’s news briefing, following his talk with Speaker Ali Fahad Al-Rashid of the National Assembly of Kuwait.

Abrahamyan added that Armenia’s political relations with Kuwait are at a high level, whereas the economic ties have a great potential for development.   

In his turn, Ali Fahad Al-Rashid noted that KFAED makes investments in numerous countries, and they are interested in making investments in Armenia, too.

During their bilateral talk, the two parliament leaders also agreed to cooperate within international organizations.
