Lithuanian Presidency should be regarded as successful if the Association Agreement with Ukraine and Initial Association Agreements with Armenia and Moldova are signed, Lithuanian president said.

Dalia Grybauskaite participated in a conference devoted for the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union which brought together experts of European politics, The Baltic Course reported.

During the conference, it was noted that during Lithuanian Presidency important steps may be expected towards closer EU relations not only with Ukraine, but also with Moldova, Georgia and Armenia.

As reported earlier, EU relations with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine are one of the main focuses of Lithuania’s presidency.
