YEREVAN. – Brazil’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Edson Marinho Duarte Monteiro, on Tuesday presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.

The President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Armenia, the President’s Press Office informs. Also, Sargsyan expressed a hope that Ambassador Monteiro will make maximum efforts to raise the level of bilateral relations and to strengthen the Armenian-Brazilian ties. 

In his turn, Brazil’s newly appointed ambassador assured that he will do his utmost to make the bilateral ties become closer and to deepen the interaction. 

The Armenian President and the Brazilian ambassador underscored the need to improve the legal and contractual framework and to conduct an active cooperation between the parliaments and within international organizations.
