YEREVAN. – Catherine Jane Leach, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Ambassador to Armenia, on Wednesday visited the MOD Institute for National Strategic Studies.

Institute Director, Defense Minister Advisor, Major General Hayk Kotanjyan welcomed the Ambassador. Kotanjyan presented the priorities of the Institute, and its transformation project toward the National Defense (Research) University.

Executive Director Beniamin Poghosyan of the Political Science Association of Armenia briefly presented the plans of the Association, in the context of developing political science in Armenia.  

Taking into account the fact that the British Embassy announced the gift receiving week on the occasion of the birth of the Prince of Cambridge, Hayk Kotanjyan presented on behalf of the MOD a Children’s Bible illustrated by the children from the Armenian Children’s center, for the aesthetic education of the newborn Prince of Cambridge, and with the following inscription: 

“To: THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES THE DUKE AND THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE:

“Please accept our heartfelt congratulations, best wishes and this unique Bible for children on the occasion of the birth of the Prince of Cambridge. The Bible’s illustrations were made by Armenian children from the Center for Aesthetic Education in Yerevan; it carries an exceptional message of love and peace.

“Let this Holy Bible crafted by the talented Armenian children keep a healthy and a happy long life for the newborn Prince of Cambridge, to the Glory of the Crown of Great Britain and her Great British People.”
