YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party believes that, as a result of the adoption and the future implementation of the Armenia-EU Association Agreement, there will be an opportunity for better qualitative changes to conduct reforms in the country.     

Heritage’s vice-chairman Armen Martirosyan stated the abovementioned during a press conference on Friday. 

In his words, this does not mean, however, that an anti-Russian policy is conducted in Armenia. It is just that Armenia will seek horizontal relations with its strategic partner.   

“This also means that Armenia will get a chance for economic development, [and] that Armenia is getting a chance to stand on the democratic path,” Martirosyan added.  

He noted that now is the time to fight as a nation for the Armenian people’s independence and democracy, and the Association Agreement can become one of these tools.
