STEPANAKERT. – Spokesperson for the Karabakh President said personality factor is not playing crucial role in the work of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Davit Babayan’s comments came in response to the appointment of Ambassador James Warlick as the next US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.

The co-chairing states have their foreign policy course and a Co-Chair needs to be a professional and to follow the course, Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We expect professional work and wish him success,” spokesperson said. He noted that Co-Chair’s work will be effective if several conditions, such as neutrality and willingness to assist the peace process, are observed.
