March 19, Romanian President Traian Basescu signed a decree on ratification of Nabucco agreement.
According to gazeta.ru, the agreement sets terms and conditions under which gas might be exported from Caspian Sea and Middle East to EU and Turkey.
The 3.300 km long Nabucco gas pipeline will run from Central Asia and Caspian region via Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Austria bypassing Russia. The project is estimated at €7.9bn.
