YEREVAN. – Carrefour retailer is actively working to enter the Armenian market, French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud said.

Ambassador told reporters he had discussed the issue with those responsible in the Armenian government and they gave a positive response.

“Everybody wants retailer to enter Armenia and I wonder: how Carrefour can not settle in Armenia, where people are waiting and there are all conditions for the approval of the company.”

Henri Reynaud also noted that he, as an ambassador, is happy that many people want to see Carrefour in the Armenian market.
