YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received a Kuwaiti delegation, led by Governor Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait City.
Sargsyan expressed a conviction that the Kuwait City governor’s visit to Armenia will advance Armenian-Kuwaiti relations, informs the Armenian government press service.
“New impetus is given to our bilateral projects, and Armenia is interested in expanding cooperation with Kuwait,” the PM said, in particular.
For his part, Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah conveyed to Sargsyan the warm greetings by the prime minister of Kuwait, and noted that his country attaches importance to the strengthening of ties with Armenia and stands ready to stimulate the development of cooperation between the two countries.
Tigran Sargsyan informed that Armenia will be conducting an “open skies” policy. In this context, the Armenian PM and the Kuwait City governor discussed the possibility of conducting two-way direct flights.
The interlocutors also reflected on the activities of the Armenian-Kuwaiti Intergovernmental Commission, and the implementation of investment programs.
