YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Friday was on hand at the official reopening of the German Embassy building which had undergone renovations, informs the MFA press service.   

“Germany was one of the first countries to open its diplomatic mission in newly independent Armenia.

“The track-record of the German Embassy [in Armenia] also characterizes the important road which the inter-state relations of our two countries have passed.   

“Germany is a friend of, a very important partner for, Armenia. Armenia highly appreciates Germany’s assistance.

“A close political discourse is established, there is a productive collaboration, [and] the cooperation expands between our two countries,” Edward Nalbandian specifically said at the event, and he wished new successes.
