YEREVAN. – Armenian-Kuwaiti relations are developing dynamically, and the mutual visits between the two countries have become traditional.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated the above-said Saturday during his talk with a Kuwaiti delegation led by Governor Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait City. 

Sargsyan stressed that the friendship between the Armenian and the Arab peoples dates back centuries, and relations between Armenia and the Arab countries are developing. The President expressed confidence that the Kuwait City governor’s current visit will become an additional stimulus for expanding Armenian-Kuwaiti relations further.   

The interlocutors considered the dynamics of the interaction between the two countries as satisfactory and, in the conviction of both sides, their embassies that have opened in the two countries have a major role in this respect. 

In addition, President Sargsyan thanked the Kuwaiti people and government for their friendly disposition towards the Armenian community of Kuwait. The President also expressed gratitude for Kuwait’s assistance to Armenia.  

The parties discussed the prospective domains in terms of expanding bilateral cooperation, and the avenues for deepening cooperation between Armenia and Kuwait.
