YEREVAN. – Holland’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Hans Horbach—whose diplomatic residence is in Tbilisi, Georgia—, on Monday presented the copy of his credentials to Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian. 

Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Nalbandian wished the Dutch diplomat success in his accountable mission, and stressed that Armenia looks toward expanding ties with the Netherlands. The minister also noted that the Armenian MFA will assist the new ambassador in conducting his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

In turn, Ambassador Horbach assured that he will make maximum efforts to develop Armenian-Dutch cooperation.    

The interlocutors discussed the avenues for the development of collaboration in several domains, and stressed the importance of expanding the legal and contractual framework between the two countries.

They also exchanged views on Armenia-European Union cooperation as well as regional and international matters.
