LONDON. - The UK Minister for Europe David Lidington welcomed meeting between Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Vienna on 19 November on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, British Foreign Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"I welcome the meeting held in Vienna on 19 November between President Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Sargsyan of Armenia. This meeting, facilitated by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the first since January 2012, marks a positive step towards restarting regular and substantive discussions between leaders. We encourage both Presidents to build on the Vienna meeting and work actively towards a peaceful and long lasting solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Minister Lidington said in his statement.
