YEREVAN. – Armenian parliament’s standing committee on foreign affairs discussed defense cooperation agreement signed by Armenia and Russia in June 2013.

Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazaryan presented the agreement on military-technical cooperation.

The agreement envisages mutual supply of military goods between Russia and Armenia through a simplified procedure. Deputy Minister said that Russia so far had signed such an agreement only with Belarus. The agreement will be submitted to the ratification of the parliament with positive conclusions of the committee.
