YEREVAN. – Romania’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Sorin Vasile, on Wednesday presented the copy of his credentials to Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Nalbandian said the Armenian MFA will assist the Romanian diplomat’s efforts to strengthen Armenian-Romanian relations.
In turn, Vasile assured that he will strive to expand cooperation between the two countries.
Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed a variety of issues on the bilateral agenda.
Edward Nalbandian presented the ongoing efforts by Armenia and the international community toward a pacific settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and stressed the need to support the respective efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.
