YEREVAN. – Nearly 300 representatives of the Russian companies are expected to participate in the interregional forum in Armenia, trade representative of Russia in Armenia Andrey Babko said.
Armenia’s decision to join Customs Union has increased Russian companies’ interest in investments and trade with the country.
Andrey Babko believes it is very important to facilitate procedure of doing business and movement of goods.
“The second important element is market expansion, bilateral expansion: we are interested in attracting Armenian goods to the territory of the Customs Union, and goods of the Customs Union to Armenia,” he said during the space on Friday.
An extensive series of meetings “region-region” format will be held during the forum.
The Armenian-Russian interregional forum will be held December 2-3 in Yerevan and Gyumri and will coincide with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
