YEREVAN. – At present, the Heritage Party continues to work within the format of the three [non-government] parliamentary forces.

The opposition party’s National Assembly (NA) Faction Head Ruben Hakobyan stated the aforesaid at Friday’s—and the year’s final—NA briefing.

He added that this “trio” also had previously informed that it has no single approach in foreign policy issues.

“The task is to combine efforts to carry out a regime change in Armenia. The three forces have realized that they may find themselves in different poles after the regime change,” Hakobyan added.

The opposition MP stressed yet again that the regime change is the number-one issue that unites these three non-government parliamentary forces (Armenian National Congress (ANC), Prosperous Armenia (PAP), and Heritage).

At Thursday’s NA session, the PAP and ANC—except for Nikol Pashinyan—Factions’ members voted for, whereas the Heritage Faction MPs voted against the treaty on Armenia’s planned accession to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union.
