YEREVAN. – A rally dedicated to the Human Rights Day kicked off in Liberty Square of Yerevan to be follower by a march.

The action initiated by Armenian National Congress (ANC) was joined by Prosperous Armenia and Heritage parties. Lawmakers, representatives of ANC and Prosperous Armenia youth branches and several dozens of protesters gathered in the square.

The leaders of ANC and Prosperous Armenia are not participating in the rally and the march.

The UN General Assembly proclaimed 10 December as Human Rights Day in 1950.
