YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received a World Bank (WB) delegation led by Laura Bailey, the WB Country Manager for Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed the current economic situation and the prospects for economic development in Armenia, and the country’s monetary and fiscal policy, informed the Press Office of the Government of Armenia.
They also underscored the need to conduct an economic policy that is consistent with the global and regional economic realities and the changing international market, and to create a corresponding economic climate.
In addition, the parties once again reaffirmed their commitment to continue Armenian government-World Bank cooperation in the aforesaid directions.
