STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 204 times, between the late night hours on Thursday and the early morning hours on Friday.

During this time, the adversary fired more than 2,200 shots, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense reported. Specifically, the Azerbaijani armed forces fired 24 mortar shells toward the eastern direction of the frontlines.

In addition, the adversary fired 144 sniper and 820 machine gun shots, and made use of other artillery weapons in different sectors of the Line of Contact.

The NKR Defense Army vanguard units, however, took reciprocal retaliatory actions as needed, and they kept the situation under control.
