According to the preliminary information, the corpse of late Lilit Gevorgyan, 16, who died in the United States, will be delivered to Armenia in the night of September 10, Nune Dolinyan, head teacher of Armavir town school No 1, where Lilit used to study, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.  

In her words, the girl’s corpse was to be brought home several days ago, but this wasn’t possible because of certain problems encountered. The corpse will be delivered this night and the funeral service will be held tomorrow.

The head teacher said Lilit’s relatives, who left for the United States, familiarized themselves with the conclusion of the forensic medical expert examination, which confirmed that the girl had died in an ATV accident.

Lilit Gevorgyan was participating in an exchange program in the United States. She died in Texas on August 24, losing control of the quad.
