A Commission will estimate the extent of damages caused to Armenia’s Tavush province villages as a result of firing from the Azerbaijani side.

Tavush province governor Hovik Abovyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent that a Special Commission on determining the extent of damages has already been set up.

According to him, the Commission is conducting an investigation in border villages, which were subjected to firing by the adversary.  

“The regional administration has no means for compensating the damages incurred by the citizens. When the results of the investigation are ready, we will turn to the government,” Abovyan said.
