Twenty children have suffered from poisoning in Dzithankov village in the Shirak Province of Armenia. 

Village mayor Hovik Poghosyan told about the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Twenty children from 2 to 15 years old were poisoned, one of them is in hospital, [and] the others are receiving treatment at home,” noted Poghosyan. “At present, they are all in good condition.”

The village prefect added, however, that he, too, had suffered poisoning. 

In Hovik Poghosyan’s words, the relevant agencies are conducting studies in Dzithankov to determine the cause for this poisoning.
