YEREVAN. – Davit Davtyan, 27, who had gone missing while heading from Armenia to Ukraine in a car on August 1, has been found in Luhansk, Ukraine.
Davtyan’s friend Robert Bejanov told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“Davit is currently in Rostov[-on-Don, in Russia]; he is having his car repaired to return to Armenia,” said Bejanov. “He will be [back] in [capital city] Yerevan on Sunday.”
He added, however, that according to preliminary data, the young man was kidnapped.
Davit Davtyan was taking clothes from Yerevan to Kharkiv, Ukraine, and he was to return immediately afterwards. The Armenian man had headed for Kharkiv in a navy-blue Opel Astra G., but he went missing on August 3. Davtyan’s relatives had contacted the Armenian, Russian, and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
