The Ukrainian crisis cannot be solved by means of sanctions, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian in an interview with the Russian service of BBC.

Armenia shares pain and feels empathy for the country, as Ukraine is home to nearly half a million Armenians, Nalbandian stressed.

The Minister said to limit the issue to who condemns or supports who is not the best option.

“I do not think that problems have to be solved by sanctions. The problems must be solved through dialogue, this is the best option to resolve any international conflict,” he added.
