Famous Armenian chef Alain Alexanian, who is invited to Armenia from Lyon, France, participated for the first time in the Treasures of Odzun Festival, which is held in Odzun village in the Lori Province.

Alexanian told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Odzun has captivated him with its eminence and beauty. In addition, he was overwhelmed by the rich variety of greens, fruits, vegetables, and berries hat are growing in this rural community. 

In his view, such festivals are very important in terms of the development of Armenia’s remote regions. As per Alain Alexanian, these events contribute to a growth in exports, and this leads to the opening of new jobs in the country.

He also stressed that Armenia to him is not the cities, but the villages and distant areas.
