CTSO member countries are concerned about the escalation on their borders because of unresolved regional conflicts as well as intensification of the Islamic State terrorist group, they said in a statement issued as a result of summit in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
“Of particular concern is the worsening situation on the borders of the area that is under responsibility of the CSTO , the unresolved regional conflicts, and intensification of a terrorist Islamic State, as well as transformation of Afghanistan into one of the largest centers of drug production,” the statement reads, RIA Novosti reported.
