YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Armed Forces continue to perform the tasks they face as before, Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am today.  

In his words, the violations of the ceasefire should not raise concerns. “If our Armed Forces weren’t able to solve such minor issues, what would we do with serious defense issues in the country? We are able to respond to both minor incidents and major challenges,” Ohanyan said.   

According to the Minister, Azerbaijan has recently increased the caliber of weapons used against the Armenian positions. The firing is carried out by 60, 82 and 120 mm caliber mortars. On the other hand, the frequency of shootings has recently decreased, the Minister said.
