YEREVAN. – All proposals voiced by U.S. Ambassador to to Armenia on fighting corruption may become a matter of discussion, an Armenian MP said.

Gegik Melikyan, secretary of ruling RPA parliamentary group, said the ambassador pointed to progress in fighting corruption.

“I think that ambassador presented both his country and his personal opinion on the matter,” Melikyan said.

In his recent interview with RFE/RL Armenian service, Richard Mills warned that failure of the anti-corruption council may affect relationship between the countries in particular areas, for example investments.
