YEREVAN. – The execution of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) rulings regarding Armenia are regularly reviewed with the leadership of the Department for the Execution of Judgments of the ECHR of the Council of Europe.

Prosecutor General of Armenia Gevorg Kostanyan, who is also the Armenian government’s representative at the ECHR, stated the above-said at his talk Tuesday with the head of the said department, Geneviève Mayer, and her deputy, Fredrik Sundberg.

The ECHR delegation members, for their part, stressed that there is an active and productive cooperation between the department, and Armenia’s representative at the ECHR and his staff.

Subsequently, the parties discussed the execution of the ECHR rulings regarding Armenia.
