YEREVAN. – We can only hope that, despite the difficulties, Armenia will remain committed to European values.
Ambassador Piotr Świtalski, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Armenia, stated the aforesaid at Wednesday’s event devoted to the 40th anniversary of the European People’s Party (EPP).
In his words, the parliamentary elections in Armenia, in April 2017, will become a very important point in this respect.
Świtalski said the President of Armenia stresses that the country wants to maintain ties with Europe, and based on shared values.
As per the EU diplomat, now it is a difficult time for Armenia, as the country wishes to show that it is a member of the European family, not only with a rich civilization and amazing identity, but by following the shared values.
