YEREVAN. – As long as they [i.e. Azerbaijan] fire shots, as long as they provoke, it is impossible to achieve progress in the negotiation process on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Shavarsh Kocharyan, on Tuesday told about the above-said to reporters, at the National Assembly.

In his words, a respective progress can be expected solely when Azerbaijan changes its destructive approach.

And when asked how he assesses the fact that, in effect, there are no Karabakh peace talks at this moment, Kocharyan responded: “What does it mean there are no talks? It depends on what. Now, very clear negotiations are in progress on the matter that the arrangements at the Vienna and Saint Petersburg meetings be implemented; this logic is very clear.”
