Almaty regional court in criminal cases sentenced Ruslan Kulekbaev to death for the murder of 8 law enforcement employees and 2 civilians, reports the Kazinform. In addition, the court granted a State Award for Heroism to the killed Interior Ministry officer Aya Galiev. The crime took place on July 18 of 2016. Kulekbaev has also been accused of armed robbery and assault.
