At least 12 people were killed and 25 injured as a result of collision of two passenger trains in Pakistan, Dawn reported quoting the head of non-profit social welfare program Foundation Edie Faisal Edhi.

According to the newspaper, the accident occurred on Thursday morning near Karachi's Landi Railway Station.

As it was reported, many passengers were still under rubble. Railway communication was temporarily suspended.
