The Chinese and French sides started implementation of the joint project on development of the LCA60T airship with a loading capacity of 60 tons, Xinhua reported.

The subsidiary of China Aviation Inductry General Aircraft is investing in the French company Flying Whales for development of the aircraft which will be capable to carry 60 tons of cargo. At the same time the Chinese research associates will also join the project. The parties also plan to create factories both in China, and France. The cycle of development will come to an end in 2019.
