Passenger train collides with truck injuring several people in southern Slovakia

Passenger train collided with a truck at a railway crossing in southern Slovakia on Tuesday morning.

As a result of the accident 12 people sustained injuries, RIA Novosti reported quoting  Aktuality.

It was reported that a passenger train of the Czech company RegioJet collided on Bratislava — Komarno route, as a result of which one got serious wounds, 11 more sustained injuries. Traffic in the area of the accident was temporarily suspended

According to the newspaper, the truck left on a railway several seconds prior to the passing train the driver of which did not manage to prevent the accident.
