The International Criminal Police Organization has delayed the decision about Palestine’s, Kosovo’s, and Solomon Islands’ membership, reports the BBC.  "All current and future applications for membership including those from the Republic of Kosovo, the State of Palestine and the Solomon Islands have been suspended," reads the statement. Interpol has appointed an advisor, who is responsible for examining the submitted membership applications. The report will be introduced next year at the General Assembly session of Interpol. The Israeli authorities said Palestinian membership application is an attempt to politicize the Interpol.
