Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan phoned and congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential election.
According to Haberturk, the conversation between Trump and Erdogan was held at the initiative of the Turkish president.
He wished him success in his responsible mission and expressed hope that relations between the U.S. and Turkey will move to a new level.
