The Security Council Secretaries of Armenia and Russia, Yuri Khachaturov and Nikolay Patrushev, met in Moscow Wednesday.

A wide scope of issues related to the bilateral and multilateral cooperation was discussed at the meeting, the press-service of the Armenian Security Council reports.

The sides touched on the situation in the South Caucasus, the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement and implementation of the decisions adopted at the session of the CSTO Security Council secretaries.

The interlocutors underscored the importance of expanding the military and technical cooperation between Armenia and Russia, as well as the implementation of joint programs.

The sides signed a cooperation plan of Armenian and Russian Security Council Secretariats for 2017.

On the same day, expert consultations were held between the representatives of the Security Council staffs of two countries.
