President of South Korea voted on Friday to impeach President Park Geun-hye.
The vote was broadcast by South Korean television, RIA Novosti reported.
The vote came weeks after disclosures in a corruption scandal that provoked the largest street protests in the history of the country.
Impeachment has to be confirmed or rejected by the Constitutional Court.
