YEREVAN. – There are plans to increase Armenia’s Jermuk-brand mineral water exports to China, by the year 2020, Jermuk Group CJSC CEO Vahagn Arsenyan said at a press conference on Tuesday.

President Serzh Sargsyan had attended the official opening of the company’s new plant in Jermuk town.

Jermuk Group exports “Jermuk” mineral and “Byuregh” spring water to fifteen countries.

Most of these exports are to Russia, and China and South Africa are among the new markets.

“We already are working with two to three buyers in China,” stated Arsenyan. “But they like [it], and we wish to supply more.”
