A stamp of Manchurian dynasty’s emperor Tcyonline has been sold for 21 million euros in Paris, reports Xinhua. The auction experts increased the price of the artifact by more than 20 times, than initially set.

According to Drouot auction representative, it was an unprecedented deal. It was a French doctor, who took the seal belonging to the reigning emperor of China for almost 60 years outside China. The seal was preserved in his family for more than a century.  It is noted, that the new owner is a Chinese collector. His name is not reported.

According to specialists, there are more than 10 million ancient artifacts outside China, which were taken out of the country in the last few centuries. As UNESCO informs, there are more than 1.6 million Chinese cultural treasures in approximately 20 foreign museums.
