YEREVAN. - If current Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan tops the proportional list of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), its rating will go up, that is people will vote not for a force but for an individual. 

Political technologist Karen Kocharyan stated the aforementioned at a press-conference Monday.

In his words, there is no radical opposition in Armenia now. ''Currently Armenia, like the entire world, has parties but no leaders,'' Kocharyan noted.

According to him, the parliamentary elections will in many respects have a geopolitical tinge.  ''1-2 pro-Western forces will get into the parliament. I think two pro-Western forces have chances to get into the parliament: newly-formed coalition (Civil Contract, Bright Armenia and Republic Party), which is mostly pro-European and the possible coalition of Hrant Bagratyan and Free Democrats, which is mostly pro-American,'' Karen Kocharyan stressed, adding that Raffi Hovannisian's Heritage Party may altogether fall into pieces.
