YEREVAN. - If Azerbaijan refuses the package option of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, only the step-by-step option of the settlement is left.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan told the aforementioned to Armenpress, commenting on the attempts of the Azerbaijani side to advance the step-by-step settlement option.

Kocharyan stressed that after the April aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh in April it has become clear to everyone that if Azerbaijan refuses the package option, only the step-by-step option is left.

''It supposes Azerbaijan's recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), return of territories under Azerbaijani occupation to the NKR and launch of talks between Azerbaijan and NKR on the delimitation of the state border,'' the Deputy FM said.
