YEREVAN. – Armenian Defense ministry hosted annual Armenia-UK military and political consultations.

The consultations were chaired by deputy head of defense policy department Levon Ayvazyan and director of UK defense ministry director for international security policy Nick Gurr.

The officials summed up 2016 cooperation and stated implementation of the outlined plan. The 2017-18 programs on education, exercises, training of junior staff and instructors was discussed during the meeting.

The sides signed  a 2017-18 action plan and discussed regional security.
