Negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are held in Kremlin, Interfax reported.

The sides will discuss the situation in Syria, including coordination of military operations of two countries. Despite the improvement of relations and even joint actions to fight Islamists in Syria, there are many contradictions in the relations between Moscow and Ankara.

During the visit, the Turkish president will not only meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, but also will take part in the meeting of High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council.
