At least 36 ISIS militants were killed when the United States dropped "the mother er of all bombs" in Afghanstan. The explosive device weighting 9,800kg was the largest non-nuclear one ever unleashed in combat, Reuters reported quoting Afghan Defence Ministry spokesman Dawlat Waziri.
According to him, there are no civilians among the casualties, only the ISIS base was destroyed.
