YEREVAN. – An Armenia man who is accused of killing his one-year-old son pleads not guilty, his attorney Hamlet Stepanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The attorney said in his testimony Rustam Manukyan said the mother of the child had killed him.

“The rumors that the accused was drunk are not true,” the attorney said.

It also turned out that Manukyan was a step-father of the boy.

As reported earlier, the incident happened on September 28. According to preliminary reports, Manukyan beat his wife and one-year-old boy who died at the scene.
