The Armenian National Congress (ANC) is going to hold a special rally today, Lyudmila Sargsyan, Chairwoman of the Social-Democratic Hnchakian Party and member of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), told journalists Feb. 18.

As to what is the special feature of today’s rally, she said: “The feature is that a critical situation has developed in the country – the people do not want to live on like this, and the authorities are unable to govern in a different way,” Sargsyan said.

Responding to Armenian News-NEWS.am`s question about the issues to be raised at the rally, Lyudmila Sargsyan said that the issue on the agenda is “the poorest sections of the population that can hardly gain their daily bread.”

The ANC is to start its rally in Yerevan at 5:00 p.m., Feb. 18.
